Sofrito

This seasoning mix is used to flavor everything quickly and easily: soups, meats, vegetables, beans, and rice, to name a few. You can buy sofrito in jars if you want to keep a premixed version on hand.

Serving size: 1 tbsp.

garlic clove, peeled |

medium red bell pepper, seeds removed |
| 1/2 |
medium green bell pepper, seeds removed |

tomato, seeded |

Caribbean culantro leaf |

tbsp. fresh cilantro |
Blend all ingredients until mixture is soft, then store in refrigerator.
