UV Safety Month
Most are well aware of the danger the powerful summertime sun poses to skin; less attention, however, is given to eyes. Be sure to give your peepers the care they deserve by not only donning a pair of appropriate sunglasses, but also scheduling a comprehensive eye examination at least once a year. Your doctor should check for cataracts, macular degeneration, and glaucoma.
