The AARP Driver Safety Program is a classroom
driver-improvement course designed for motorists age 50 and up.
The eight-hour course is typically taught in two
four-hour sessions over two days and costs just $10. It provides practical
techniques for coping with changes in vision, hearing, and reaction
time, along with a review of "rules of the road."
More than 8 million people have completed the course.
Graduates are eligible for an auto insurance discount in most states.
